Santa Isabel
Santa Isabel (also known as Ysabel and Mahaga) is the longest island in the Solomon Islands, the third largest in terms of surface area, and the largest in the group of islands in Isabel Province.
The province has two commercial airstrips, at Fera island near Buala in the south and Suavanao to the north of Isabel island.

Papatura Island Retreat
Papatura has been built with natural environment in mind using local bush materials, we are very conscious of the environment and have taken great care with the planning and set out of the retreat. We have linked up the bungalows, toilets and restaurant and bar with raise timber walkways and are proud to say that we are wheelchair friendly. The entire retreat has a 180 degree view across the turquoise waters of the bay to the coconut groves and the Isabel mountain range which makes for amazing sunsets.

Vavaghio Guest House
Your adventure to Vavaghio Guest House starts with the flight from Honiara to Suavanao, at the northern end of Santa Isabel province. From there, you will have a 90 minute boat ride in a small Solomon Island Ray boat with safety equipment, to Vakao Island, where the guest house is located. If you want to look at your smartphone or laptop all day, then stay at home. There is no internet and very little mobile coverage here, so it is a great location for the big kids to play and talk to other guests, like we used to before technology took over our lives.
